Terms of Service

Last updated 1 August 2026. Effective for all accounts from that date.

The short version

  • Your photos stay yours. We get only the permission needed to build and print your book.
  • Building and revising books is free. You pay per printed book, with no subscription.
  • If a book arrives wrong, we reprint or refund it within 30 days.
  • You can close your account at any time and take everything with you.

1. Agreement

These terms form a contract between you and keepsi.ai. By creating an account or placing an order you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. Your content stays yours

You keep all ownership of and rights in the photos, text and other material you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, reproduce and adapt that content solely to provide the service to you: curating, enhancing, laying out, printing, shipping and hosting your digital edition.

That licence is narrow on purpose. It does not permit us to use your content for training machine learning models, for marketing, or for anything shown to anyone other than you and the people you invite. It ends when you delete the content.

3. What you promise us

  • You own the photos you upload, or have permission to use them.
  • You will not upload content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that depicts the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child.
  • You will not use the service to harass, impersonate or endanger anyone.
  • You will not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or scrape the service.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these promises. Content that depicts child sexual abuse is reported to the relevant authorities without notice.

4. AI-generated output

Captions, selections, enhancements and layouts are produced automatically. They can be wrong, awkward, or occasionally state something that did not happen. You are responsible for reviewing the draft before ordering, and every automated change is listed and reversible so that review is possible. Once you approve and order a book, you accept its contents as printed.

5. Orders, pricing and shipping

Prices are shown before checkout in your local currency where supported, and exclude any import duty your country may charge. Orders remain editable for two hours after checkout; after that the file goes to press and cannot be changed. Estimated delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and we will tell you promptly if a print partner is delayed.

6. Refunds and reprints

If a book arrives damaged, misprinted, materially different from the on-screen proof, or does not arrive at all, tell us within 30 days and we will reprint it at no cost. If a reprint is not what you want, we refund it in full. We do not require you to return a faulty book. Refunds for change of mind after a correct book has been printed are at our discretion, because the object is made to order.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including print partner outages, carrier disruption and natural events.

8. Ending it

You may close your account at any time from settings, and export everything first. We may terminate an account for a material breach of section 3, or with 30 days' notice if we discontinue the service, in which case any unfulfilled order is refunded in full and you keep export access for 90 days.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data you did not keep a copy of elsewhere.

keepsi.ai is not a backup service. Keep your own copy of anything irreplaceable.

10. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local law gives you, including statutory rights of withdrawal and to goods of satisfactory quality. Nothing here reduces them. Note that personalised goods made to your specification are often excluded from statutory cooling-off periods; our own 30-day reprint and refund commitment applies regardless.

11. Changes to these terms

We will email you at least 30 days before any material change takes effect. If you do not accept it, close your account before the effective date and any unfulfilled order is refunded.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may bring proceedings in your own country and your local mandatory consumer law still applies.

Something here unclear?

If a clause reads ambiguously, that is a fault in our drafting. Tell us and we will rewrite it.
